My entire life, I have been drawn to community service, starting at the age of six hosting a carnival for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I have served in many capacities as a leader for the Boy Scouts of America, Jaycees, Rotary International, and I've also served on two different boards of education (Westwood and Romulus). I introduced and brought to fruition the Romulus Early College Program, where our students can graduate with an Associate's Degree at no cost to the family (or additional cost to local taxpayers). I also serve on the Advisory Council for the Romulus Boys & Girls Club, where I have coordinated three "Mayors Ball" fundraisers, earning over $65,000 for our local children and families.
